Abundant Joy

Hello friends!

Gosh, I honestly cannot believe it’s been a month since I’ve posted!  I apologize for that, and will endeavor to post at least weekly in the future.  I won’t get into the “I’ve been so busy!” excuses, as we all know that we’re ALL busy, right?!  Life is GOOD though, and for that I am very grateful!

I’ve got a Power Poppy card to share with you today…one of many Christmas cards I’m cranking out now that the holiday is upon us!

I used the darling Fully Stocked clear stamp set, and chose to color up the vintage stocking with my Copic Markers.

For the stocking itself, I used E31/E34/E37/E49 with B95/B97 for the blue stripes.  The jingle bells were colored with Y21/Y38/Y28, and the rest of the colors I used are as follows:  C3/C7/B91/YG61/YG63/YG67/R24

I airbrushed the circle background with Y38 to give it a warm glow.  The sentiment is from the Glitter House Village clear stamp set, and was stamped using Memento Nautical Blue.

Inside the card, I simply added a left-over strip of patterned paper, stamped a few bells in the corners using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored them with Copic Markers.

  1. Wow, Cindy, what a gorgeous card! Your coloring of this stocking is so amazing and really makes it look real — so much dimension! Love how you’ve finished it with the ribbon, cord, and bells, and I always love your cards inside. Hugs and love! xoxo

  2. Beautiful (as always)… tried to follow your blog via email (sign up for newsletter updates) but it gave me this error message: “Oops. Something went wrong. Please try again later. 🙁 Don’t know if you can add me from the back end but would appreciate it if so.
