Walk With the Wise

March 23, 2017

I woke up this morning full of such intense gratitude for the people God has brought into my life. Kind, compassionate, loving, generous, motivated, inspiring, uplifting, and REAL. I know they have my back. And I have theirs. It hasn’t always been this way. I’ve had bad friends. I’ve been a bad friend. If I could offer one piece of advice to my children and friends who struggle with this, it would be this: Guard your heart, and raise your standards. You become like the people you spend the most time with. Choose wisely! You are going places, friend! God has an amazing plan for your life, and He is always, always a good friend…even if you’re feeling very alone. “Do not be mislead. Bad company corrupts good character.” ~ I Cor 15:33. “Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.” ~Proverbs 13:20
