So Grateful

Hello, beautiful crafty people!

Did you see the stunning new digital stamp set released by Power Poppy on Tuesday?  Actually, there were two new digital stamp sets released on Tuesday; but I’m going to focus on the Primroses.

It’s been quite a while since I’ve created a square card, and now I’ve shared two in a row! I guess I’m feeling kinda “square” lately. Haha!

I printed the light gray version of the pretty Primroses onto X-Press It Blending Card, and colored them up with my Copic Markers, adding a sweet yellow enamel dot to the center of each flower.

Here’s a look at the Copic Markers I used:

I kept the card design simple, stamping a sentiment from the Cabbage and Kale clear stamp set in Memento Bamboo Leaves ink.  I scattered a few coordinating sequins for added interest.

Inside the card I printed the Primroses image in a pale raspberry color and added the sentiment right over the top in a deep green.  I do so love the myriad of options you have with digital stamp sets!

Weekend Stamp Steal is Here!
A Wonderful Day

  1. Wow, Cindy, what a GORGEOUS card! Yes, you’ve been square lately — haha! But I love square cards too, and this one reminds me of your new designing “gig” with the soft colors and that pop of “gorgeousness” you’ve colored. I love the colors and agree that the leaves are amazing! Totally delighted with this one, Cindy…and all your cards. Hugs and love! xoxo

  2. Awesome Cindy, what a vibrant colours . I love that you kept the background calm with the gorgeous wood on one side and the circle with the sentiment on the other side, just gorgeous.
Thank you so much for sharing and have a great weekend.

  3. Good heavens, the color on your primroses is incredible! Making a note of your markers. There are a few I don’t have. Copic coloring can sometimes frustrate me, so I appreciate your comment today, Cindy.

  4. Love what you’ve done with this one Cindy! Wow! The lighter curl of the petals and depth of the inside gives it a whole different feel! Gorgeous!
